Cycling & Walking

For those who enjoy getting out and about on the bike, National Cycle Route 33 passes us less than 100m away. You can find details of the route on the Sustrans website. For those who need bike storage, we have a garage on-site and if you'd like to use it, just ask when you call to book.

If you just like a nice leisurely walk, there's always the beach, which can take you as far as Brean heading north. Burnham itself is relatively flat so taking a walk on the promenade isn't too strenuous and suitable for less mobile visitors. There are lots of walks that you can find online around the Somerset countryside, the Walking in Somerset website has many of these that you can download for free.

In Burnham-on-Sea, you could spend a few hours following the Burnham Heritage Trail. The Heritage Trail is a local history initiative by North Sedgemoor Local History Group in association with Somerset Film and guides you through the history of Burnham, the Lighthouses and other points of interest.
